We have used Carol Shaddix and Imagine Going There Travel to book three cruises with Viking, and our experience with Carol and her company has been wonderful.
They gave us valuable suggestions about excursions, shipboard credit, and flights that made our trips much easier. We received regular updates regarding airline changes, and they arranged flights that better suited our schedules.
Our June 2020 cruise was cancelled by Viking due to the pandemic, and we were able to rebook for July. Viking was forced to cancel that cruise as well. We were offered a great deal on a 2021 cruise, but our age and health just won’t allow it. Viking said that they would refund our money in two years. Carol went to bat for us and got Viking to repay us in six weeks. In addition, she got the travel insurance premium reimbursed which is something that is not usually done. Carol knew that we would probably not be using her again due to our age, but she went up the ladder in Viking and the Travel Insurance Company to help us anyway. It is that virtue of doing what’s right for the customer that makes her truly exceptional in today’s world.
